Upcycled gold & black coffee table/magazine store
This upcycled delight started life as a low-profile wooden tool case, before realising its true calling as a smart-looking, one-of-a-kind side table and magazine store.
Finished in a striking black and gold colour scheme, with a satin finish and original brass corners, the table stands on hairpin legs that take it to a very practical height of 50cm (20in.).
Open the lid and you'll find enough space to store a whole year's worth of your favourite monthly publication, or perhaps a board game or poker set, with a little space to spare.
(Since these photographs were taken the inside of the table has been lined with a teal/green faux crocodile skin vinyl wallpaper, which looks a whole lot nicer than the black — I’ll update the photos when I can!)
